About Luna
Luna will soon be on her way to New Jersey, ready for adoption on the weekend of November 1-15 at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes. You can submit an application for her at socorescue.com without the need to register or log in. For any questions about Luna or the adoption process, please reach out to socorescue8@gmail.com instead of calling the rescue's number. Luna's journey to recovery began dramatically; she was found huddled under a car after being hit by another vehicle. Fortunately, she avoided broken bones, but the injury necessitated the amputation of her tail due to severe damage. She's been in a foster home healing beautifully. Despite what she's been through, Luna is incredibly affectionate and friendly. She adores being held and loves to curl up in laps, quickly making friends with everyone she meets. Initially, Luna would softly growl at other dogs, but she has since grown comfortable around them, especially with larger breeds. She has also been spayed, received updates on her vaccinations, and is up to date with her flea and heartworm preventatives. She tested negative for heartworms as well. While she has shown signs of house training, she may benefit from a little refresher in her new home. Don't miss out on this loving companion. Your new best friend is just one click away.
