About Pepper Ann D
Pepper Ann D is a smart and affectionate Labrador Retriever mix with a strong desire for connection and structured activity. Once she trusts you, sheโll eagerly leap into your lap, soaking up all the affection you have to offer. She is completely house-trained and trustworthy around the home, never destructive or prone to chewing things when boredom strikes. Pepper enjoys the freedom of roaming the house with her co-resident dog and thrives in a comfortable and safe environment. While she can experience anxiety when not stimulated enough, Pepper also has a relaxed side, happily napping after her needs are met. When meeting new people, Pepper may bark and act a bit unsure, but calm introductions help her come out of her shell. She has a playful and protective nature, particularly in her personal space, making slow introductions to another dog important for harmony. A household with another compatible dog or even a home where she is the solo pup will suit her well. Her ideal adopter will appreciate training and possibly engage in dog sports or outdoor adventures, as she has enjoyed activities like bird hunting. Pepper is good with basic commands and has good house manners, demonstrating manageable prey drive around a flock of ducks. Ideally, she needs a home without young children due to her increased nervousness with very little ones.
