Meet Sable, a sweet 3-year-old American Eskimo girl looking for a special forever home. At about 30 pounds, Sable has a beautiful white and cream coat that highlights her gentle nature. She spent her early life in an Amish puppy mill, where she missed out on the love and security every dog deserves. As a result, she's a bit nervous and still learning that the world can be a safe place. Despite her timidness, Sable has a lot of love to give. Once she trusts her people, she develops deep bonds and enjoys affection. Her journey is rewarding, especially as she slowly comes out of her shell. Sable has also graduated from a prison training program, acquiring basic obedience skills and gaining invaluable experience with people. However, her path to confidence will require a patient and understanding adopter. Sable's ideal home should have a securely fenced yard, another confident dog to help her adapt, and should be child-free. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Sable seeks someone to appreciate her as she is and celebrate every small victory together. With love and time, she can become a devoted companion.
