About Barney

Barney is a charming bulldog mix who found his way to NCCR after being discovered as a stray in the nearby gorge. Estimated to be between 1 to 3 years old, he has come out of his shell beautifully, showing his playful side as he settles into his new environment. After a few days of getting accustomed to regular meals and a comfortable space, he’s grown quite fond of leaning against friends for affection and enjoys wagging his tail at other dogs without a care in the world. Barney will receive a thorough veterinary exam, microchip, vaccines, dewormer, flea/tick prevention, and neuter before adoption. He’s good with other dogs, making him a wonderful companion for families with pets.
