About Trip

Trip is a 3-year-old hound mix, neutered and up to date on vaccinations. This sensitive boy forms strong bonds with his person and will be your constant companion. He does experience some separation anxiety, which manifests as pacing and howling when left alone. But he’s crate trained and usually settles down quietly in there. Trip flourishes in a calm environment and would do best with someone who spends a lot of time at home. While he enjoys the company of kids, he can get overwhelmed in noisy situations, so a quieter home with older or occasionally visiting children is ideal. He adores other dogs and is fantastic with cats. Outdoor activities like hikes and walks are favorites, but he could use a little work on his leash manners. He also enjoys car rides.
