About Lucky in TN The

Lucky is a sweet Great Pyrenees mix who arrived in our care after a serious accident, resulting in the amputation of her front left leg. Despite this, she has adapted beautifully and thrives as a tripod. Lucky's daydreams revolve around cozy couch snuggles and sunny patches on the floor where she can bask alongside her favorite people. Completely housebroken, Lucky enjoys her walks on a leash but isn't particularly adventurous. She prefers to relax and sunbathe in the yard, ready to come inside when the sun gets too warm, announcing her needs with her chatty barks. It may take her some time to warm up to newcomers, so meeting potential adopters ahead of time is important for her comfort. Once she picks her person, prepare for her signature dramatic flop onto you, asking for all the love you can give. With some phantom limb pain from her amputation, she requires medication to help, but her affectionate spirit never falters. Lucky wants to be the only pet in a calm home, ideally with a 5-foot fenced yard. She adores peanut butter and organ meat treats. The best fit for her would be someone who works from home or is retired, allowing for ample bonding time. Lucky promises to be your perfect companion on all your quieter days.
