After being discovered as a stray in Alabama with an injured front leg, Koby underwent amputation but hasn’t let that slow him down. In fact, he’s a lively, energetic pup who can run surprisingly fast and loves to play, dig, and explore with boundless enthusiasm. His joyous spirit is infectious, and watching him frolic with his doggie pals is heartwarming. Koby thrives in a social setting with other dogs. Currently, he shares his foster home with six dogs of all ages and sizes and has a special affinity for playful companions. To fully flourish, he needs a home with at least one or two other high-energy dogs who enjoy spending time with him. A younger dog would be a fantastic playmate, while an older friend could be a great role model. Koby's ideal family will be active, enjoying outdoor adventures and plenty of playtime with him, ideally in a home with a fenced yard. Housebroken and crate trained, Koby knows commands like “sit” and “come” and is eager to keep learning. He’s comfortable indoors, especially when his furry friends are nearby, but he prefers the outdoors, often found relaxing in his favorite spots. Koby navigates his surroundings with ease, even on wood floors, and he’s sweet and affectionate with both people and fellow pets. He’s shown he can get along with children after a proper introduction and has observed cats without any aggressive behavior. What truly makes Koby shine is his positive disposition. Despite his challenges, he remains gentle, loving, and playful, ready to bring laughter and joy into your life.
