About Scarlet
Meet Scarlet, a delightful little soul with a hearty spirit who's ready to find her forever family. At around 3 years old, this Jack Russell Terrier mix weighs in at 27 pounds, with a little room for improvement. Scarletโs journey began in 2024 as a stray, and she blossomed through the Puppies for Parole program, learning essential manners and basic commands along the way. Her past includes being adopted as a gift, but it didnโt evolve into the lifelong commitment she deserves. Scarlet hasnโt done anything wrong; she simply longs for someone to choose her as their priority, not just a responsibility. Scarlet is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on flea/tick prevention. Sheโs potty and kennel trained, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is even good with kids. While she has ignored outdoor cats, we believe she could get along with them too. Her love for tennis balls is unmatched, and she could fetch all day long, often entertaining herself in the process. Though she's energetic and occasionally gets a bit excited, Scarlet knows her boundaries well. She might need some patience during car rides as she sometimes struggles with them, but with a committed companion, she can definitely work through these challenges. Scarlet offers an abundance of loyalty, laughter, and companionship. If you're seeking a funny, energetic sidekick, Scarlet could be the match you've been waiting for. She just needs someone to invest in her happiness, throw that ball, and help her settle into a loving home. Scarlet is safe and loved where she is, with no rush to find her a home. If you're interested in giving her the life she deserves, reach out to Michaela for a meet and greet. Let the journey to find Scarlet her forever home begin!
