Sydney is a lovely 2.5-year-old female mixed breed dog who weighs around 80 lbs. Standing at 25 inches tall, she has a beautiful white and cream coat with black highlights. Sydney is spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. She has been working on her house training and gets along well with dogs.

About Sydney

Meet Sydney, often affectionately called Sweetie! She is about 2.5 years old, weighs around 80 lbs, and stands 25" tall. After lovingly raising seven puppies, she’s ready for her forever home. Though she’s a bit underweight from nursing, Sydney is a Great Pyrenees and we believe she has some Great Dane mix in her. This gentle giant has a laid-back personality but can be a touch stubborn. Sydney needs a little time to adjust to new surroundings, having gone through a lot in her past. In her foster home, she initially stayed close to her foster mom, but by day five, she was happily alternating between both her foster parents. Sydney is leash trained and mostly house trained. She's currently working on her crate training. While she’s not particularly interested in toys, she loves lounging in her dog bed and cherishing time spent with her humans. She adores meeting new people and greets everyone with kindness. She has gelled well with her foster brother, a Chihuahua, after a brief introduction. Sydney has shown some food guarding behaviors, likely due to past hardships, but she’ll adjust as she learns that there is ample love and food. Sydney is perfect for any family that offers her dedication, patience, and training.
