Meet Sunshine! Some stories start with heartbreak, but we hope her next chapter is filled with love and joy. This sweet mama was discovered with her newborn puppies inside a bucket, left out in the pouring rain. Thankfully, our team rescued her and her babies, giving them the second chance they desperately needed. Sunshine even participated in our humane education program, attending classes with our students. She truly lives up to her name, embodying a ray of sunshine with a heart full of love. Estimated to be around 2–3 years old and weighing approximately 16 lbs, she is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Additionally, Sunshine is potty trained and gets along wonderfully with kids, dogs, and cats! This affectionate girl enjoys attention and being around her people. After caring for everyone else, it’s time for her to be someone’s beloved companion. She deserves a family that will spoil her and remind her every day just how special she is.
