About Nubby the Tripod

Nubby the Tripod is a loyal, smart, and beautiful boy looking for his forever home. This sweet hunk of love may have only three legs, but he moves with more grace and agility than many. After a tough start in a rural Oklahoma shelter, where he faced euthanasia after a car accident that led to amputation of his rear leg, Nubby has blossomed at Happy FurEver Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. While enjoying life at the sanctuary, Nubby hopes to find a family of his own, which would also help another dog in need. He's happiest when he can focus all his love on his human, preferring a home without other pets. Although Nubby gets along well with many dogs, he stands his ground if challenged. A meet and greet is a good idea if you have existing pets. This guy is an utter cuddle bug who adores running and playing but treasures quiet moments filled with belly rubs and naps by your side. Nubby the Tripod is healthy, goofy, and ready to share his love with a new companion. Your new best friend is just one click away.
