About Shaeffer

Meet Shaeffer, a lively 3-year-old Black and Tan German Shepherd. Although his past is a mystery, he approaches life with a delightful puppy-like curiosity. After transitioning from a noisy shelter to a quieter home, Shaeffer has adapted beautifully. He loves lounging on his extra-large dog bed, and heโ€™s a champ at accepting belly rubs, which he enjoys immensely. Daily walks and monitored playtime keep him engaged and healthy as he gains strength. Although heโ€™s a big guy at 75 lbs and currently a bit underweight, his personality shines bright. Shaeffer has a tendency to explore kitchen counters for treats, but corrected consistently, he learns that snacks and love are abundant. This affectionate boy is house trained, sleeps in a crate at night, and walks well on a leash. He thrives in human company and would make a devoted family member. While heโ€™s eager to bond with people, he does not get along with cats. If you're looking for a friendly companion with a big heart, Shaeffer could be the perfect fit for you.
