About Leo: At shelter

Leo is a 3.5-year-old Bichon Frise mix who arrived at the shelter as a stray. He came with a collar and microchip, but the registration hasn’t been updated, leaving us unable to locate his previous owner. While he shows signs of being house trained, Leo is not neutered and tends to mark his territory, which is something potential adopters should consider. He has recently been groomed, although his fur has some staining likely from using a belly band. Leo can be nippy and skittish when approached, so a home without small children is ideal to keep him comfortable. He's a charming dog looking for a place to call home, and we are committed to digging deeper to find his original family. If you’re interested in Leo, please note he is currently at the Friends of Campbell County Animal Control in Rustburg, VA. Click apply to start the adoption process.
