About Claire: At shelter

Meet Claire, a charming Labrador Retriever who has shown remarkable resilience despite her tough journey as a stray. After her hold period, a visit to the vet revealed that Claire was heartworm positive and also had two tick-borne diseases, along with severe ear infections. Yet, her spirit shines through—she stays playful and affectionate, eagerly seeking attention from everyone around her. Claire is about six years old, spayed, and is housetrained. She loves rolling in the grass and asking for belly rubs, showing off her spaying tattoo as she does. While she has a wonderful rapport with toddlers and children, Claire prefers to be the only pet in the home as she lacks patience with other dogs. We're certain she's missing her family and is ready to find a new loving home. Friends of Campbell County Animal Control in Rustburg, VA, has her waiting for adoption. Apply to bring this loving companion into your life!
