About Kenzie
Meet Kenzie! This gentle soul arrived at the shelter as a stray on October 20 and deserves a loving home to call her own. Though Kenzie may have faced some challenges in her past life, we're optimistic about her bright future ahead. She has skin issues that should improve with proper care, including nutritious food and medicated baths. Additionally, Kenzie is heartworm positive, requiring treatment, but with the right care, she can lead a long, happy life. Kenzie is around 6 years old and weighs 38 lbs, and she's up to date on her vaccinations. She'll be spayed and microchipped before adoption. Volunteers describe her as friendly and loving; she even knows how to sit nicely on command. Since she was found as a stray, we don't know how she behaves around children or other pets, so a meet-and-greet is a great idea. You can visit Kenzie in kennel 879 at Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb County in Marietta, GA. Sheβs hoping for a chance at a new beginning, perhaps even through foster-to-adopt as she gets her treatment. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
