About Hudson AVAILABLE
Meet Hudson, the Comeback Kid with a Heart of Gold! Resilience wrapped in velvet with a penchant for cuddling, Hudson is a pit bull who's here to capture hearts. Found injured on a highway, he came to Forgotten Dogs Rescue and has worked hard to regain his strength. Post-surgery, he’s on a remarkable path to recovery and is now ready to find his forever home. Affectionately described as a “goofy velvet pudding,” Hudson is soft, snuggly, and fiercely loyal. He loves being close to you, whether it's in your lap, pressed against your legs, or following you around. His playful spirit shines when he grabs his biggest toy to parade around, even if he occasionally bounces around like a bunny due to his recovery. This 60-pound “lap dog” has an infectious zest for life! Hudson enjoys walks and loves exploring the neighborhood, always eager to greet new friends — though he still has that signature excitement for squirrels. He gets along well with other dogs, reading their signals effectively, and thrives on the attention of both his canine companions and human friends. Older, dog-savvy kids (7 and up) are perfect for him, as they can handle his adorable enthusiasm. His journey hasn’t dulled his spirit. Hudson’s story is a testament to joy, trust, and love. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Hudson’s ideal family will be committed to supporting him as he enjoys life to the fullest. If you're ready for a gentle, goofy, affectionate companion, Hudson might be your match. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
