About Astro

Astro came to Edgar & Ivy's as a tiny newborn kitten, entirely dependent on people after being separated from his mother. A dedicated bottle feeder lovingly raised him until he was strong enough to find a family. He enjoyed a year of comfort and companionship in a home, but due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, Astro recently had to return to the sanctuary where he was cared for. Currently, he’s part of our Bridge Home project, designed to support families facing housing crises by providing temporary shelter for beloved pets. Astro’s mom is actively working toward stable housing, and our hope is for them to be reunited. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and protected from fleas. Right now, Astro has all he needs except the chance to return to his family. He gets along well with other cats, dogs, and children, making him a wonderful companion.
