About Karen sister to Kevin

Meet Karen, a delightful 6-month-old hound/heeler mix who weighs 24 pounds. Found at a farm in rural Batesville, MS, along with her brother Kevin, they were abandoned alongside their ailing mother. Sadly, their mother succumbed to heartworms, but Karen and Kevin are now on the path to brighter futures. This affectionate and laid-back girl is currently in a foster home, eagerly awaiting her chance to move north to Pennsylvania for adoption. Karen adores attention and is especially fond of snuggles from people, including children. She gets along splendidly with other dogs, showcasing her playful and friendly demeanor. Karen has begun her journey toward being house trained and is making excellent progress, although she will need some patience as a young pup. She is crate trained and has started leash walking. A home with a fenced yard would make her transition even better, giving her space to frolic as she grows. Already spayed and up to date on vaccinations, Karen is ready to find her forever family. Donโ€™t miss the opportunity to welcome this sweet girl into your home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
