About Venelope

Meet Venelope, a sweet cat looking for a patient and understanding home. She and her sister Penelope were surrendered to our shelter after their owner chose to no longer care for them. Venelope was anxious, overweight, and had never seen a vet before. It took time for her to regain her confidence. Now, she’s showing signs of her gentle spirit and is ready for a second chance at love. Though she can be shy at first, with the right person, she’s a delight. Venelope enjoys head scratches, butt rubs, and likes to lounge in her cushioned chair by the window, watching the world go by. She adores making biscuits and will often seek out affection in quiet moments. However, she does struggle with other cats and can be territorial, so a calm environment or a home with non-intrusive cats might suit her best. Venelope is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you're looking to provide a loving forever home to a cat who deserves it, reach out. Are you the special soul that Venelope needs to show how much love she still has to give? Ready to make a difference? Apply now!
