Fortunately, a local rescue connected with Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, bringing her all the way to Massachusetts. Though Kayla may be timid with new people and situations, she has shown remarkable progress. Her rescuers in Georgia worked patiently with her, noting that once she trusts her human companions, she truly shines. Along with her striking brown and cream coat, she’s also quite smart, knowing basic commands and fun tricks like high five, spin, and "bang bang." Life at Yankee has allowed her to enjoy daily walks, splashes in the pool, and playtime with her canine friends. She thrives in the company of other dogs, particularly her best friend Phoebe, which boosts her confidence. Therefore, having another confident dog in her forever home is essential.
