Barney is a charming senior who has seen his share of challenges but is ready for a fresh start. At 14 years old, he was originally adopted as a puppy, only to end up wandering alone on the streets. Animal control rescued him from a ferry, and he is now in the caring hands of Barking Wishes Senior Pet Rescue and Sanctuary. After finding out he is diabetic, Barney has adjusted well, thanks to the right treatment, and he's now exploring his surroundings with newfound energy. This little guy requires some extra care but has a heart full of love to give. He gets along beautifully with cats, dogs, and kids, making him a wonderful addition to any family.
