Now, she has blossomed in her foster home for the last five months, and her fur has grown back beautifully, showcasing her unique tabby coloring. Although still a bit timid, Maize is not wild and prefers not to be picked up yet is easy to care for. She would thrive in a cat-only household where her boundaries are respected, away from dogs and young children. Providing her with a safe space, like a “kitty house,” will greatly aid in her adjustment. If you have the patience and love to help Maize continue on her journey towards becoming fully socialized, she could reward you with a fulfilling companionship.
