Meet Stizzy! ***URGENT: Two LA Shelter Dogs Need Pre-Approved Homes by Thursday! Please welcome Savannah and Stizzy into your home asap!*** Our Street Dog Hero team is currently visiting a shelter in Los Angeles, and we have the opportunity to bring two amazing dogs back to Bend, Oregon, with us this Thursday, October 22! We'd love to make that happen, but there's one important catch: we can only bring these dogs to Oregon if we have pre-approved adopters ready to welcome them into their homes immediately upon our arrival on Thursday to begin their in-home adoption trial. We're currently at capacity with nearly 100 animals in our program, and temporary foster homes are extremely limited. Unfortunately, we simply don't have the space or resources to bring these dogs home without confirmed placements waiting for them. Stizzy - 3-year-old male, 42 lbs A handsome, scruffy mix with a great temperament and a friendly personality! Stizzy is hoping someone will open their home and heart to give him the fresh start he deserves. Could you be ready to welcome Stizzy or Savannah home this Thursday? If you're already an approved Street Dog Hero adopter and can commit to accepting one of these dogs immediately upon our team's return to Bend, please me, the Adoptions Manager, as soon as possible at manny@streetdoghero.org and let me know which dog you're interested in. We'll be reaching out to other previously approved applicants as well, so interest may come in quickly. We'll follow up with additional information and next steps as we confirm potential placements. We know the timing is short, but with your help, we may be able to give one or both of these wonderful dogs a chance at a new life. Will you be his lucky hero?
