Despite having deformed ears from long-term untreated ear infections, he’s far from bothered by it; he just wants a cozy place to rest. As an FIV-positive cat, Gio has a weakened immune system but can live a normal lifespan with the right care. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds and from mother to kittens at birth, but not through casual contact like sharing food or grooming. Plus, it’s not contagious to humans or other pets except for cats. With proper management, Gio is ready to be a wonderful companion.
