About Vixel

Meet Vixel, a gentle grey tabby with white markings who was born on June 2, 2026. This sweet kitten has a shy demeanor, but he's making strides in trusting people. He loves being petted and even enjoys being held when he feels comfortable. Vixel has spent time observing the world from the safety of a window, and he’s recently become more adventurous, especially when it comes to playing with wand toys. Vixel arrived at Wild Blue Cats after being part of a TNR program in Colorado Springs. Faced with too many cats in the colony, he found a safe haven to grow and learn about humans. While he may need some patience as he adjusts to new surroundings, his affectionate personality will shine through once he feels secure. He'd thrive in a home with respectful teenagers and could get along well with another cat or even a friendly dog. A family that values gentle introductions and allows him to adapt at his own pace would be ideal. If you’re interested in welcoming Vixel into your home, please complete an adoption application. He’s ready to join you with a joyful heart and a soothing purr!
