Meet Mama August! At about 3 years old, Mama August is a beautiful American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a gentle heart and so much love to give. August can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but give her some time, patience, and reassurance, and you’ll start to see her personality shine. She’s the kind of girl who needs someone willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace. Once she feels safe and loved, you’ll see what a wonderful dog she truly is. The good news? August is a social girl who does well with other dogs, children, AND cats! She’s got all the makings of a wonderful companion. After raising her babies, Mama August is ready for someone to finally spoil HER. She’s spent time being a mama, and now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby. All August is asking for is a soft place to land, a little extra encouragement, and someone who will remind her every day that she’s safe, loved, and wanted. She’s waited long enough for her happily ever after. Could you be the one to show Mama August just how wonderful life can be?
