Cassius is a handsome 5-year-old, 33-pound Poodle with an adorable face, a beautiful curly coat, and a personality all his own! This sweet boy is looking for a very special forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and secure. Cassius is potty trained and would thrive in a calm, predictable environment with someone who understands that not every dog is comfortable in every situation. He needs an adult, female-only household with no children or other pets. Cassius is happiest when he can be the one and only four-legged companion, soaking up the attention and building a trusting relationship with his person. We know Cassius has some specific needs when it comes to finding the right home, but we also know that the right match is out there! He deserves someone who will appreciate him for exactly who he is, respect his boundaries, and give him the patience, consistency, and love he needs to thrive. Cassius may not be the right dog for every household, but for the right person, he could be a wonderful companion. We're hoping to find someone with a soft spot for Poodles and a willingness to open their heart to a dog who just needs the right environment to shine. Could you be the special person Cassius has been waiting for? He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
