How this pet arrived: Smokey was brought in by their previous owner on Octobe 15, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Smokey! If your couch feels a little too drafty, Smokey is ready to step in as your full-time lap-warmer. He's a friendly guy who, once settled, wants nothing more than to curl up right on you and soak in the attention. He takes his role as best friend very seriously, which is why he insists on being your only cat. Why share the love when he can have all the head scratches to himself? To set him up for total success with his litter box habits, Smokey just needs a little VIP treatment to start. Setting him up in a dedicated room-like a home office or cozy spare bedroom-gives him the quiet base camp he needs to lock down a rock-solid bathroom routine before he graduates to exploring the rest of the house. If you're looking for an affectionate buddy to keep your lap warm and keep you company, come say hi to Smokey today! Just don't forget to bring a large secure carrier for his safe ride home.At SDHS:Smokey has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!
