I, Queen Minnie, sovereign ruler of this household, protector of fluffy beds, professional napper, and undefeated champion of judging everyone within my kingdom, do hereby issue the following proclamation: I have graciously allowed myself to reside in this palace with two human children, two cats, and two foster dog siblings. They are my royal subjects, and I tolerate their existence with remarkable dignity. One of the younger dogs is particularly... irritating. I have chosen, through immense personal restraint, not to overthrow her. You're welcome. I enjoy accompanying my foster mother on royal excursions, because obviously the Queen must occasionally be seen in public. My presence is a privilege, and I expect appropriate admiration wherever I go. My foster father, however, is my favorite human. He has been officially selected as the Royal Favorite. Foster Mom is acceptable and may remain in the kingdom, but she should not get any ideas about taking his place. I have very strong opinions about grass. I HATE IT. It is itchy. It is offensive. It has no place beneath my royal feet. Fluffy beds, on the other hand, are magnificent and shall be provided generously. And finally, I would like to remind everyone that I am watching you. I will judge your choices. I will judge your outfit. I will judge how you speak to me. I will judge the quality of your snacks. I will judge whether you have properly appreciated my beauty today. Do not mistake my sleepy little face for weakness. I am simply a tired queen with a very important kingdom to oversee. So bring me my fluffy bed. Tell Foster Dad I love him. This sweet senior dachshund is ready for her happily ever after! After a past life of overbreeding and battling severe anemia, Minnie is finally ready to be someone's spoiled little shadow. She's great with dogs, cats, kids, and people! She isn't interested in playing with other dogs - she just wants to be wherever her person is. She's crate trained, does well home alone uncrated, and would love to tag along on adventures! Minnie has ongoing medical needs, including daily medications and monthly veterinary blood checks. She cannot be spayed because of her age and ongoing medical reasons, but she is up to date on vaccines and will be microchipped soon.
