Pete is a 6ish year old senior Retriever mix who was found as a stray here in George County, MS and was sadly never reclaimed. He was clearly someone's dog, as someone has spent a lot of time training him. He knows "sit", "down", and stay. He also appears to be housetrained. Pete is a sweetheart and has not had any handling issues with us, he lets us clip his nails, clean his ears etc. He is VERY eager to please and obedient, he sits immediately on command even without a cookie. He also LOVES to play fetch, seriously never tires of it. Even though he is older he still has a lot of life left, and does like to go on walks, etc. He is dog friendly and goes into playgroups at our rescue daily. Completely housebroken Wonderful on a leash An all-around AMAZING boy! Pete is currently located at Rise & Shine Rescue in Lucedale, Mississippi.
