Sabrina: Born 05/12/2025, Female, Blue Scottish Fold Adoption Fee: $600 Fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz, Ca. Contact Harriet at email: harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com if you have additional questions. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found at https://purebredsplus.org/Our Cats . Here's Sabrina. She is one of the youngest of the kitties we got from the Scottish Fold breeder who asked us to find homes for some of her kitties. This little girl is surprisingly athletic. Maybe it's her young age, but she's not a sleep on the couch Persian kind of Scottish Fold. Like Suzie she wants to climb and play and explore her environment. She is cuddly and affectionate, especially when she's tired from playing. But you can see from the photo's that she's good natured and obliging. All these cats when they arrived were immediately lime dipped as a precaution in case they had ringworm. Poor things; this was not the welcome we wanted to give them. First, we collected a test of each one to send off to the Idexx labs. Then we immediately dipped them. We had to be careful. But look how patient Sabrina was being in the photo I included of her being dipped. Poor kitty a long car ride and then a wet welcome! She's a such nice, good-natured cat. I myself have a Blue Scottish Fold, which is what they call a silver-colored Scottish Fold so I am very aware of how the light plays with that particular color. Sabrina can look dark and she can also look like pure silver white, depending on the light. She has airplane folded ears similar to Luna's. Her eyes vary from gold to amber to apricot. For a couple weeks this girl was shy and reclusive. Then, she got right over that and showed that she's very outgoing and likes people, even strangers. She's an easy cat to care for because she is so willing to let you do what needs to be done. I really appreciate a cat that does not require you to be super masterful when giving meds or clipping nails. Sabrina's coat is not long but it is very plush and dense. Cats usually shed in the autumn to get ready to bring in their new winter coat. We recently found Sabrina was getting little clumps of fur starting on her back. And we found out that, fortunately, this girl really enjoys being brushed so it's a little love fest with her. We use a wire slicker brush and she gets very happy. This little silver girl gets along with other cats and would be happy to have the company of one or more, and potentially she would be happy also with a well-behaved dog. She also would enjoy being the only pet in your home. She's a very easy going, obliging girl. With a Loving heart. She would probably be fine with all, but preschool children. Of course, she'd love it if her family was home much of the time. We are limiting applications for Sabrina to people who reside in California. Sorry. We've been getting applications from all across the country for these cats, and I don't want people out of state to fall in love and then be disappointed. There's no need for these kitties to travel so far from Santa Cruz for their new home. Sabrina will make some lucky family, a wonderful, loving, and entertaining companion. Sabrina is: Neutered/Spayed, Vaccinated, FELV Tested, Dewormed, Microchipped, Wet Food, Dry Food, Litter Box Perfect Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests! Purebreds Plus cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Oregon, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
