I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog Adoption:14Meet Bluebell, a sweet Pit Bull Terrier Mix who loves leaning in for pets and being close to her people! At just over a year old and 52 pounds, she already knows sit and is working on other basic skills. She walks nicely on leash much of the time, takes treats gently, and warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. She may be a little sensitive to touch at first, so a patient, gentle approach will help her shine. Bluebell has done well meeting other dogs and could enjoy a compatible canine companion or make friends on outings. She’s very interested in cats, though, so a cat-free home is likely the best fit. With positive reinforcement and a little practice with leash skills and manners, Bluebell could make a loving companion!
