RUFUS | The Big-Feelings Boy Four months old | Male | Mixed breed Long legs. Big hugs. Bigger feelings. Rufus is basically a lanky teenager who hasn't realized he's still a baby. 🥹 Rufus is outgoing, loves being in the middle of the action, and happens to be mom Logan's favorite playmate. He also has a soft spot for his littlest sister, often choosing to sleep beside her. Sometimes on top of her. Personal space is apparently a work in progress. He's surprisingly agile, too. Stairs? Conquered. Box tower? Climbed. Jumping back down? No hesitation. He's a little more cautious when exploring the yard, but once he's ready to go, those long legs take him places. And then there's his heart. Rufus has always been an emotional guy. He's affectionate, sensitive, and the kind of puppy who makes you feel genuinely special when he chooses you for a cuddle. His signature move is putting his paws on your shoulders and leaning in for a hug. Yes, really. We have a hugger. He's also showing promising early potty-training awareness, crying and pacing in his playpen when he needs to go outside. That's a great start, although he'll need continued consistency and practice in his new home. Rufus has grown up with three resident dogs and met three toddler grandkids regularly. He's part of the family's Mumford & Sons naptime tradition and enjoys having access to a crate for naps and play. He hasn't been individually crate trained yet. The family tree: Mom Logan is a Poodle, American Pit Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, and Golden Retriever mix, with Cocker Spaniel and other breeds in her DNA. Dad is unknown, so Rufus's adult size is still a question mark. Rufus is looking for: A loving family ready for puppy training, a little emotional sensitivity, lots of play, and a dog who might just become your personal hug delivery service.
