THE FOLLOWING PET IS FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT!!! Details below **Meet Laela!** This sweet and loving 1.5-year-old girl is approximately 30 pounds and ready to finally be the center of someone's world. If you're looking for a professional snuggler to warm your lap, Laela is your girl! She absolutely adores her people and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day, such as a retiree, someone who works from home, or a stay-at-home parent. Laela's story began when she was found dumped in the woods, heavily pregnant and all alone. Shortly after being rescued, she gave birth to six beautiful puppies. She was a wonderful mama, and all six babies have found homes of their own. Now it's finally Laela's turn! Although she's been fostered around other dogs, Laela would be happiest as the only dog in her forever home. She does fine at dog parks and on walks, but she wants all the love and attention at home to herself. After raising six puppies, we think she's earned that! Laela is fully potty trained and crate trained, sleeping wonderfully in her crate at night (although daytime crating isn't her favorite). She's still learning what it means to simply be a dog and is becoming more playful and confident every day. Leash walking is still a work in progress, but she's making steady progress! Laela is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. Her heartworm treatment is fully covered by Mutts N Such Rescue, so her future family can focus on giving her all the love she deserves. This mama spent so much of her life taking care of her babies. Now she's ready for someone to choose HER! OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.
