Meet Jersey Jersey is a sweet, gentle girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for being close to her people. She's happiest curled up in your lap or laying by your side, but when her puppy energy kicks in, she's always ready to play! She's already showing how smart and eager to learn she is. Jersey knows sit, is doing great with leash training, and is absolutely amazing on walks with little to no pulling. She's also learning not to jump when she gets excited and is doing well with redirection and positive reinforcement. Like any teething puppy, Jersey loves to chew and is still learning that people aren't chew toys, so she'll need plenty of appropriate toys and continued guidance. She's also curious about everything outdoors, including rocks, so that's another puppy habit she's working on. She's mellow and easygoing overall and has done well with everyday household sounds, including the vacuum and garage door. She loves attention from people and has already shown that she enjoys affection from both men and women. Jersey is a lovable, smart, goofy puppy who is going to make an amazing companion for someone willing to continue helping her learn and grow. Her foster is already completely smitten with her, and it's easy to see why!
