MEET SHIRLEY... OUR BEAUTIFUL LITTLE MIRACLE GIRL! She came to us fighting to survive... now she's just hoping someone will choose HER! When sweet Shirley arrived at Marion County Animal Control, life had already dealt her a pretty rough hand. This beautiful black Lab mix puppy was terribly sick with PARVO. Instead of chasing toys, giving puppy kisses, and enjoying life, Shirley was fighting a battle no little puppy should ever have to face. There were scary moments, worried hearts, and days when all we could do was hope that this precious girl had enough fight left in her. AND BOY, DID SHE FIGHT! Our sweet Shirley refused to give up! SHE BEAT THE ODDS! SHE BEAT PARVO! AND SHE STOLE OUR HEARTS ALONG THE WAY! Today, Shirley is a happy, healthy, beautiful little girl with her whole life ahead of her! But there's still one thing missing... HER VERY OWN FOREVER FAMILY! Shirley has already learned how hard life can be. Now it's time for her to learn about warm beds, squeaky toys, belly rubs, and the kind of love that lasts forever. She doesn't know how close she came to losing everything. She just knows she's feeling better and has a whole lot of puppy love waiting for someone special. Shirley will be ready to leave the shelter October 29th! She fought so hard for a chance to live... now we're asking YOU to give her a chance to be loved! Marion County Animal Control PLEASE SHARE!
