Gizmo is about one year old and we think he is a Spaniel and Chihuahua mix. He is looking for a dedicated adopter. Though small in size, Gizmo acts like a big dog and requires an owner committed to ongoing training, structure, and clear boundaries. Gizmo is happiest as an only dog and needs a pet-free home, he's not looking to live with a cat or small companion animal. He has a history of resource guarding his food, people, and laps from other dogs, meaning a management plan and consistent rules will be essential to help him succeed. Despite these behavioral needs, Gizmo is an eager learner who genuinely enjoys training. He builds strong bonds with his person through structured exercises and shared learning. With an owner willing to provide steady guidance and fair rules, Gizmo has the potential to mature into a well-mannered, loyal companion.
