About Brady

Meet Brady, a true comeback story. Just recently, he was saved from the euthanasia list at a rural shelter by a devoted volunteer with a big heart for black dogs. Now Brady is in Myakka City, where he’s safe and on the road to recovery. Brady, named after NFL legend Tom Brady, embodies resilience. He was found in dire circumstances, locked in a crate while his owner was missing. His journey hasn’t been easy, but he's determined to turn his life around. At just 1 year and 3 months old, he’s a sweet and affectionate boy who craves love and companionship. Brady has a charming quirk—when his foster mom walks him, he sometimes asks to be picked up and cuddled like a baby. It’s heartwarming to witness him discover the comfort of human arms. Once healthy, Brady is expected to weigh around 32-35 pounds, making him the perfect little cuddle buddy. As he continues to gain confidence and enjoy the joys of being a dog, Brady is on the lookout for a forever home. Help us cheer for him! His incredible journey is just beginning, and you might be the one to complete it. Click apply to start the adoption process.
