About Max

Meet Max, a charming mixed breed dog who's 3.5 years old and weighs 52 lbs. He came to the rescue due to circumstances beyond his and his family’s control. This affectionate lap dog has a playful spirit, but he can be a bit shy initially. Max has great experiences with other pets, having lived harmoniously with three cats and two large dogs. He's also interacted with children and enjoys their company. Playtime at the dog park is one of his favorite activities, and he loves a good game with his furry friends at home. Max is a big fan of Milkbones, pets, and cuddles and prefers to stay indoors. While he might have the occasional accident, he signals when he needs to go outside, indicating he's learning housetraining. His new home should be one that offers plenty of affection and plenty of time to let him follow you around. Come visit Max; he’s ready to meet his forever family!
