About Phyllis

Meet Phyllis! This sweet girl has a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Her foster mom notes that just a glance is enough to send Phyllis purring with happiness. Always the first to greet meal time, she’s ready to steal your heart with her affectionate nature. Phyllis has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), affectionately known as a "wobbly cat." This condition means the part of her brain responsible for movement was affected during her development, causing her to shake when she walks or even sits. However, don’t let that fool you; it doesn’t slow her down or cause her pain. Phyllis navigates well on wood floors, though stairs can be tricky unless they’re carpeted. Potty training is a bit of a challenge for Phyllis, and she may have accidents as she's still growing and learning. She will need a caring owner who can adapt to her special needs. Remember, while wobbly cats like Phyllis require a little extra help, they also reward their caregivers with endless joy and love. Phyllis is here at the KC Pet Project on Elmwood Ave. Come see her today!
