House Trained: Yes About Maple Maple is a sweet, beautiful 2-year-old Hound Mix who is looking for her perfect forever home! At 40 lbs, she is the ideal medium-sized buddy—ready for outdoor adventures, but equally happy to turn into a cozy couch potato for movie night. Personality & Behavior: Human Connections: Maple warms up quickly to women and, while she can be a bit shy with new male friends at first, she adores men once she gets to know them! She is a real sweetheart at home with her trusted people. Dog Friendly: She loves other dogs and gets along great with canine companions! Leash & Home Manners: Maple is fully house trained and has no separation anxiety. On walks, she can be leash-reactive when seeing dogs/distractions, and she barks to alert when someone comes to the door. With a patient adopter who offers structured introductions to strangers and training on leash manners, she will thrive! Ideal Home & Adoption Preferences: Adults-Only Home (No Toddlers/Kids): Maple is seeking an adult-only household (or one with older teens) as she is not suited for living with toddlers or young children. No Cats: Best in a cat-free home. Ideal Adopter: Someone who understands shy rescue dogs, enjoys regular daily walks, and appreciates a loyal, loving dog who just needs a minute to feel comfortable around strangers. If you are looking for an affectionate walking partner who loves cuddling after an active afternoon, Maple is ready to meet you!
