Meet Oakley! This young girl has been busy checking all the boxes, and she's got quite the resume to show for it! House-trained? Duh. Leash-trained? Of course. Crate-trained? Yep. Basic commands? You bet! Oakley is one smart cookie who's already put in the work to become an excellent addition to her future forever family. She has glowing references from our staff & volunteers!! Oakley absolutely loves people and other dogs and thrives when she has friends around to share life with. She's a social butterfly who enjoys being part of the action and isn't shy about soaking up a little extra attention. If there's attention to be had, Oakley is already there! She's also a fantastic walking companion! Oakley has lovely leash manners and rarely needs a correction. She does enjoy keeping a little lead on the walking team, but she knows not to pull and happily trots along for a good stroll. She's got places to see, after all! While Oakley has plenty of youthful energy, we've discovered she knows how to switch gears just as easily. A casual walk or a short game of fetch is usually enough to take the edge off, and before long, you'll find her curled up in a cozy corner with her favorite stuffies. She's just as happy enjoying some downtime as she is heading out for an adventure. Between her great manners, social personality and ability to settle in for a cozy afternoon, Oakley has so much to offer. She's looking for a family to share walks, playtime, cuddles and all the little everyday moments with. With a resume like hers, we have a feeling she's going to make somebody one very lucky dog parent! ❤️HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight.
