This big pup has been named Indigo! All puppy, goofy, playful & sweet! Clueless because life is just grand all the time! He came in as a stray and was never reclaimed. At 5 to 6 months old he still has some growing to do. He's at 44 pounds right now but judging from his huge paws he's still got more growing to do! We do tend to over review applications for puppies because we want to feel comfortable they won't be returned "when they get too big". For the record, he will get big Indigo is all ears, all legs & big adorable paws right now so we want potential homes to consider that when applying. Indigo doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Just a 100% goof ball personality. He is a complete free bird youngster figuring out life. He loves hugs, playing, stretching those legs & being included. We are looking for an active family where he will be included on outings & adventures. He takes treats very gently which makes training time much easier. Jolly boy Indigo is fully vaccinated & will be headed to Monelison Animal Clinic for his neuter this week. He has a shiny deep black coat like a Black & Tan Coonhound with brindle on his face like a Plott Hound. He will join playgroups in the back yard because he's very social. No one puts Indigo in the corner, he wants to dance, dance, dance. We ADORE this youngster, there is nothing not to love about him! His adoption fee is $200. fully vetted, all vaccines are current, he's heartworm negative & his neuter is included in his adoption fee. 3 VIDEOS on our Facebook page Begin the adoption process here: www.amherstanimalshelter.org/adopt
