About Ziko

Ziko journeyed from Egypt to the United States in March, transitioning from street life to the comforts of a home. Life on the streets was tough, and he endured an act of cruelty that led to the amputation of his tail. Now, he sports the cutest little nub. At around 3 years old, Ziko is a loving cat, though his past makes him a tad shy at first, particularly when meeting new people. He enjoys lounging on the couch with a heating pad—true couch potato style! Ziko also loves cuddling with his foster mom, watching birds through the window, and playfully chasing after anything that moves or seems provokable. He gets along well with other cats and would thrive in a home with another feline companion. However, he could also adapt well as the only cat if given plenty of attention and affection. Ziko flourishes in a calm, quiet environment. He's looking for a patient adopter who understands that he may take some time to adjust to new surroundings.
