LOCATION: POPLAR BLUFF, MO ADOPTABLE ANYWHERE IN THE USA Margie was found starved and sleeping on concrete at a gas station in rural Missouri, trying to stay alive. Her path since then has been guided by a long line of good people, each one pointing her toward the next. Now she's with us, the last stop before the home she's been headed to all along. She's about 44 pounds, likely around 5 years old, and her foster says she's super sweet and smart. She's a little timid at first, which makes sense for a girl who's had a rough stretch, but she's already claimed the couch. She prefers to be fed separately from other dogs, because when you've gone hungry, you like to enjoy your dinner in peace. She's gaining weight and getting more comfortable every day. Her nose has been leading her around for a while. Now it's time for it to lead her home. helplesshounds.com/dogs Margie - Foxhound - Poplar Bluff, MO - transport available - adoptable nationwide
