PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org. Meet Desiree! Your Shadow, Sidekick & Adventure Buddy All Rolled Into One! 2 years old 30 lbs Mini Aussie x Border Collie If you're looking for a dog who thinks personal space is overrated and being your best friend is a full-time job, Desiree would like to submit her application! This gorgeous girl is a Mini Australian Shepherd x Border Collie mix, which means she's got brains, beauty, and enough personality to keep life interesting. She's a total people-lover, gets along great with other dogs, and is happiest when she's right by her person's side. Seriously, if you get up, she's getting up. If you go somewhere, she's going too. Bathroom privacy? She doesn't really understand the concept. Desiree is an active, high-drive girl who loves car rides, walks, adventures, and basically anything that involves spending time with her favorite human. She's incredibly smart and eager to engage, so she'll thrive with a family who enjoys keeping both her mind and body busy. Think walks, training, games, activities, and plenty of opportunities to show off that brilliant little brain! Because of her high drive and herding-breed instincts, a home without cats would likely be the best fit. Desiree isn't looking for a family who will simply admire her from across the room. She wants to be INCLUDED in the fun, involved in your daily life, and right there beside you through it all. If you want a loyal, clever, adventurous best friend who will happily be your little shadow, Desiree is ready to clock in for duty! Apply to adopt this sweet girl at haydudeequine.org!
