Meet Marvin aka Rooster! Great Pyrenees Mix | Approximately 6 Months Old | 50+ Pounds Meet Marvin, affectionately known as Rooster! This handsome, goofy boy is a Great Pyrenees mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is ready to find his forever home! Marvin is everything you could want in a fun-loving puppy. He's playful, energetic, a little sassy, and an absolute cuddle bug! He loves squeaky toys, chew bones, treats, and spending time with his people. Despite his growing size, Marvin is convinced he's a lap dog and will happily lean against you, shower you with nose boops, or climb right into your lap for affection. Marvin is a smart boy who is learning his daily routine and making progress with kennel training and housebreaking. He is very food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. Like any young, large-breed puppy, he still needs guidance with jumping, playful mouthing, and basic manners. Marvin has done well playing with other dogs, but he does have some food and resource guarding tendencies. He needs to be fed separately from other pets and will benefit from a family committed to continuing his training. He has also been around cats but enjoys chasing them, so a home with cats would require careful introductions, supervision, and training. Marvin came into rescue with a dislocated hip and has undergone veterinary treatment to give him the best possible future. Despite his rough start, he hasn't let anything slow down his playful spirit! Marvin would thrive with an active, patient family who understands that he's still a puppy with plenty to learn. Experience with Great Pyrenees or other livestock guardian breeds would be a plus, but isn't required. What matters most is a loving home willing to provide consistency, training, and plenty of affection. Marvin is up to date on his vaccines, including rabies, Bordetella, and DAPP, and is current on heartworm prevention. This sweet boy has already overcome so much, and now he deserves a family of his very own. If you're looking for a loyal, goofy, affectionate companion who will keep you laughing and fill your home with love, Marvin aka Rooster just might be your perfect match!
