Here is what his foster has said about Feather Duster: "Feather Duster is estimated to be around 6 years old, though he has all the enthusiasm and playfulness of a puppy. He appears to be a poodle and papillon mix (that is just my best guess). He has tons of personality packed into his tiny 11 pound self. If you want a demure, placid lap dog, this guy is NOT for you! If you want an exuberantly loving, wiggly companion to play with and to include in daily family life, he would be a great fit! The good - Feather Duster sleeps through the night quietly in a crate He is great with children and would probably love a home with little ones that will play with him He is extremely loving and affectionate (this could be a downside if an overly-affectionate dog isn't your cup of tea) He is playful with dog toys but has not attempted to chew items from around the house He can stay in his crate and he keeps it clean while you're away from the house The challenges - Feather Duster is not house trained, and has a strong tendency to mark. The urge to mark is making house training challenging. He will be neutered before adoption is finalized, and hopefully this will help some. He has gotten a start on house-training for the past two weeks in his foster home, but his adopter will need to be up to the task of finishing his house training and understand that it may take a lot of patience. Feather Duster will try to dash out the door any time that someone is coming or going from the house, so his adopter will just want to be aware and be careful about that!"
