Meet Lark! Lark and his sister were named after birds because when they first came into rescue, they were teeny tiny, fragile little things who needed some extra love to get their wings under them. Well... Lark got his wings. And unfortunately, he has chosen violence with them. Now standing at an impressive four apples tall, Lark is a certified wildling with approximately 47 hours of energy packed into every 24-hour day. He runs. He pounces. He wrestles. He commits petty theft. Specifically, pens. If you leave one unattended, congratulations—it belongs to Lark now. We don't know what he's writing, but we assume it's his manifesto. Because this tiny bird boy operates at maximum speed, Lark definitely needs another playful kitty in his forever home who can keep up with his nonsense. He loves his non related foster sister Converse and would love to have her join him in his forever home. (He's always cuddled up with her). He absolutely loves other cats and would be thrilled to have a partner in crime for wrestling matches, zoomies, and whatever questionable activities he has planned next. Dogs? He likes 'em. Kids? Even better when they come equipped with wand toys. Lark LOVES when the kids play wand games with him and will happily demonstrate his impressive hunting skills until everyone else is exhausted. And underneath all that feral little bird energy is a very affectionate boy. Lark loves being petted and has his own special way of saying, “Wow, I really love you.” He bites you. Gently. His little love nibbles are just part of the Lark experience—a tiny reminder that sometimes affection comes with teeth. From fragile baby bird to four-apples-tall menace, Lark has officially found his wings. Now he just needs a forever family willing to let this little wildling fly straight into their hearts...and probably steal their pens.
