So now she prefers to keep her distance and let you know exactly how she feels about your presence. She may spit and growl like a tiny dragon, but here's the plot twist: she'll still let you pet her! She's basically yelling, “I DON'T TRUST YOU, BUT ALSO... KEEP SCRATCHING BEHIND MY EARS.” Graham Cracker isn't going to be your instant snuggle buddy. She's going to make you WORK for it. She's looking for a patient, understanding person who appreciates a little sass and knows that trust is earned, not demanded. Her foster mom believes there's a loving girl hiding under all that tough-girl attitude, and with time, patience, and a whole lot of love, Graham Cracker just might surprise us all.
